1) New Researchers Invited Session

In this academic year, the New Researchers Group will be hosting multiple New Researchers sessions at various conferences. These include the International Indian Statistical Association Conference and IMS Annual Meeting 2026. There will likely be other big conferences as well. To select speakers for these sessions, we will be running an application. Please apply here by October 15th, 2025 if you would like to be considered for an invited session in conferences

2) International IMS New Researchers Conference, Seville Dec 11-12, 2025

We are pleased to announce a new series of International New Researchers Conferences. The First INRC will be held in Seville from December 11-12, right before ICSDS. The conference is limited to a maximum of 50 participants. Eligible participants are final years PhD students or researchers within six years of completing their PhD. Priority will be given to junior researchers based in Europe, although we encourage junior researchers from outside Europe to apply as well, as we hope to have a diverse mix of junior researchers.
